ChefTD and Jowl listen to Podcat’s Its Pat clip and discuss a podcast mention from another show. ChefTD and Jowl then use Blog Explosion to surf blogs and earn credits for Webmaster Cookbook, along the way demoing the different features and discussing some of the blogs they discover while surfing like mystery credits, monthly lottery for credits and the read 2 blogs and get one reader back to your blog ratio. Also, some discussion on what a five level referral program means. At the end of the show they generated double the traffic that had been received for the day in less than one hour. [note: an hour after the show, the open 3rd party traffic stats showed more than double the average daily traffic]Before show started browser screenshot:

Something that Happened mentions Webmaster Cookbook

Thank you, Harold for mentioning Webmaster Cookbook in your recent podcast: Something that Happened
I continue relating my bandwidth woes in this Audioblogger phone post. People/sites/services mentioned: ILK; Jay Dedman of Momentshowing.net; Internet Archive; Creative Commons; TDavid of Webmaster Cookbook; Cyberwurx; Todd Cochrane of Geek News Central.
Jowl and I have added you to our blogroll. How did I know this happened when I hadn’t previously subscribed to his podcast? RSS! I have an RSS feed which updates anytime certain keywords are mentioned (like my name) and when I saw my name was mentioned I checked it out and it downloaded the short audio post. To my delight I heard the mention! Jowl will be excited to when I share this with him.
If anybody else who does podcasting mentions Webmaster Cookbook inside their audio post (and don’t say anything about it in text anywhere) please trackback or comment and tell us you mentioned us. Thank you, Harold!
